PJP is now on Open Journal System
Pakistan Journal of Physiology (Pak J Physiol, PJP), the official scientific publication of Pakistan Physiological Society, is an Open Access Journal and is FREE for academic and research use only. It is a peer-reviewed journal and publishes original research papers in all areas of Human & Animal Physiology. The Pakistan Journal of Physiology is recognised by PMDC as ‘Standard Medical Journal’ (IP-034), and HEC Pakistan in Category ‘X’. The contents published online or in print editions are copyrighted. No part of this publication may be reproduced or stored in any retrieval media without permission of the editor. All articles published, including editorials, letters and book reviews, represent the opinions of the authors and do not reflect the official policy of Pakistan Journal of Physiology, Pakistan Physiological Society or the Institution with which the author is affiliated unless this is clearly specified. All submissions are electronic to reduce manuscript delays.
PJP is not funded by any agency and is publishing on contribution from authors. Nominal Processing and Publication Fees are charged from the authors to cover the printing expenses. Processing Fee amounting to PKR 2,000 is to be remitted with the submission of the article. The Publication Fee, payable on acceptance of the article is PKR 4,000 for a maximum of 3 pages; extra and coloured pages are charged PKR 1,000 per page. For foreign authors, the Processing Fee is US$ 20, and the Publication Fee is US$ 50 for maximum 3 pages; extra and coloured pages are charged US$ 10 per page. The Publication Fee includes packing and postage for the Author’s Copy. On submission of Fees the Original Bank Draft is to be sent in mail to Editor and a scanned copy to be sent in email to PJP.
